Cobargo is a vibrant village of quaint olden-style stores, pottery, leatherwork, art galleries, bookstores, country cafes and antique shops.

It combines the skills and craft of a working village with a genuinely historic past, its streetscape featuring many turn of the century buildings. It has a range of excellent cafes and has leather and timber craft shops, potteries, art galleries, tea rooms and antique shops.

It is an ideal, central location for visitors wanting to explore Tathra, the Mimosa Rocks and Wadbilliga National Parks

Cobargo also hosts an annual Folk Festival which features over 200 musicians, singers, dancers and poets. It is held in the first weekend of March and runs for 3 days.
